Charlie after dark: Mr. Casual

The calm before the storm

Hogging Zeb's favorite sunbeam

Practicing his lounge pose for "Penthouse".
hey Charlie! What are you eating?

Kinfolk

My brother Chad and his wife Karen. Which impresses me because Chad is afeared of poo, pee and puke....Charlie's favorite forms of free expression.

And here's Abigail! We are proud of her new found passion of growing hair...We somehow missed her mom Susan in the pictures, but there is still time. Apparently Charlie is a Prince fan. Not the artist "formly known as Prince" Prince, but the vintage my name is "Prince"! Prince. Notice if you a say a word a lot, it gets all mooshy in the mind? PrincePrincePrincePrince!

Grandfolks!

The two lovely grandmothers....

Nanna on the left
Baba or Grammy on the right

Baba or Grammy on the right
Gido or Grumpy on the left

Pops and Charlie pre-fit...caught it just in time.

The many layers of Charlie

His range of emotions is astounding.

Poo log

Steph won't let me post pictures cataloging the evolution of Charlie's poo.

Therefore, in silent protest, I am not posting pictures tonight.

So THERE.

If you are interested, I am more than happy to email along...just let me know!

Big Phat Update

Here are some pictures of the little fella....sorry for the delay, but we have been a little distracted.

Did you know that you cannot use symbols in a legal name in Alberta? Has to be Arabic alpha ...Therefore our first choice of the Batman symbol was turned down. How cool would that be?

He is Batman.

Charlie is definitely a creature of the night.

Charlie being introduced to his arch nemesis...

the deer.

We'll get him buddy!

Charlie going for a walk with his favorite 14 blankets. At one point I think we forgot to layer him in there. Notice he has some growing to do to fit into the hood.

El Diablo.

Name ONE other kid you know with a Halloween costume when he is only 8 hours old.

We could not get the horns to stand up...so overall he did not look very menacing.

Actually he looks like a baby in a devil costume impersonating a squirrel.

Sport'n the cats pyjamas.

Just chill'n with his Nuky

More later!

Some pics from the 1st night

Some action shots from the wee hours of Halloween....it was spooooooooky!

All packed up and ready to go!

(notice mommy doesn't go anywhere without her double latte)

Miss Stephie and Miss Grace doing the math....

only 11 hours to go!

This birthing thing is EASY!

Please note this was also 11 hours before final ejection of Bert. Birthing is in no way a laughable experience and this post in no way condones irresponsible or reckless birthing.

45 minutes left....Steph is still being a trooper.

And let there be Bert!
sorry...pic is a little blurry, but it was the only one I had without his bits showing.

More coming!
