Charlie weighs in

This post is brought to you by Stephanie (as are others- can you guess which ones?)
When Charlie picked out this shirt the other day, we had to sit down with him to give him the hard truth.....

He may be handsome- but he is not dark, and really- is not small. Infact, we think he is getting close to 15lbs (doctor's appt next week). So, we decided to get some measurements......

It's true- he is growing like a weed- with more girth. So, we told him it was time to hit the gym......
We then explained there would be hot chicks in spandex......

So, Chas and I joined 'Mom and Baby Fittness." For the record, the babies do very little exercise- and Charlie less than most babies- unless one counts laughing at me and drooling. But really, whose the one with multiple chins, huh Charlie??? But, due to his pudgieness, spandex was not really pleasing to the eye. Luckily, the classic sweat suit was available.

Next week we start 'Mom and Baby Salsa Dancing'- outfit ideas appreciated.

  1. I vote for a pool: I call 15 lbs 2 oz, 89th centile for weight, 76th for height. What is the prize if I am right? You should pick...If Gord chooses, it will for sure be a sample of Charlie's poo, or a baby-sized crossbow or something.

Here is an outfit for the salsa class:

  2. Nice work on the 'centiles...it's like you are a doctor or something, trying to grade our bebe.

Did you know he should be sleeping in 4.36874 hr spurts right now? and eating 5.32852 oz of breastmilk/formula? Parenting is all about statistics.

Ah Chris, the baby sized crossbow would a)be useless against edible game (but helpful in cat reduction, so I wouldn't part with it) b) illegal for use in Canada during bow season, so why would I reward thee with it?

the loaded diaper is the only reasonable reward...

i am pumped to see Chuck tomorrow. its been almost 2 weeks (i think) and i am banking on the fact that Karen has to help me lift him now, so i wager 16 lbs 1 oz. NOT that 16lbs is the max i can lift...but it is close.
He certainly got the Kozak genes it seems. no food makes charlie a dull boy....
