Steph and I shift "single parented" last week.
She went to San Fran and then I went to Humbolt/Lanigan Sask.
Who has the better job?
Anyway, when Steph comes home, she gets a well rested XL baby.
I get to come home to this:
Pretty cute in his MoMo shirt, but not relinquishing a picture easily.
So we bribed him with....FOOD of course!
Here's Smile'n Charlie!
Definitely worth coming home to.
So Steph worked late tonight, so I tried to grab some pics.
He was eating supper and kept asking for BaBa.
Which means bottle (sorry Deloris)
It's too early for a bottle? What else can it mean.
Ohhhhhh...Banana.
So we worked on BaNaNa...he got to BaNa ok.
this will be a lot easier when he learns to talk.
Foolish banana got too close.
UUUHHHHHMMMP!
He eats it like a shark
Ahhh...the blissful taste of BaNa
I started feeding Charlie nuts a few weeks back
"Steph, is this dangerous, because he seems to like them"
I should probably eventually learn this stuff, but so far he has somehow survived
It's cute to watch him chew them. He likes the sensation of using his molars.
He grinds side to side like a cow.
But he doesn't necessarily swallow them.
Therein lies the hazard.
He can pack a pile of chewed almonds into those cheeks
Getting them out isn't as cute.
Oh, really good pictures of "the trials with Charlie and his Da". :) Liked the squirrel photo-the last one.
ReplyDeleteLove the smile'n Charlie picture. He looks all grown up. Too funny about all the almonds he can pack into his cheeks! I will be sure to get some almonds for next time you visit Charlie!
ReplyDeleteHey Cousin Charlie! Can't wait for you to teach me some of your tricks. Give me a few more months and we can compete to see who can stuff the most almonds in our cheeks. Maybe we can do cheerios as that will be more age appropriate for me.
