More from last weekend!
Cake #2- This was at Charlie's second first birthday
And guess who likes cake????
Because it was Charlie who requested the multiple cakes. Really!
The kids (and some of the adults) came in costume, including fairy princesses and sock monkeysCharlie opening gifts- and yes the ripping of paper is more exciting than the actual gift
And playing with the toys at the activity centre where we had Party #2
This was a big hit- xylophone. Daddy tried it out and after 37 years figured out that Baba black sheep and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are actually the same song.
Now on to Party #3- family supper party where all were requested to wear party hats.
And on to cakes #3 and #4. Help blowing out candles from Abbie- who did extinguish the flame but with help of saliva.
Cake #3
Cake #4 (voted the best- pumpkin cake homemade by Caroline)
And DON'T think I fogot!!! Here is is on the 31st in all his glory.
Trick or treating at the mall with Abbie.
Can you guess what his costume was???
I can attest that all the cakes Charlie had for his 1st birthday were very good. I shall expect the same for birthday #2,3,4,5 etc.
ReplyDeleteSteph, the picture of Charlie at the door was missing a face at the back of his head. Then everybody would have known who he was for Halloween at the mall. Oh well, next time.
Nice to remember everything, hope Charlie will as well.
